Juwon Lawal – the founder and director of Africent Group, a management and marketing consulting services company involved in the oil and marine industry and agribusiness.

ABD Fuels, now S8 Contractors with a global presence, a company founded by Lawal in 2009, grew faster than envisaged and delivered many successful services to both locals and international clients. Recognized for its rapid growth and excellent service delivery, ABD Fuels was awarded the best marine logistics services provider of the year 2012 (Excellent Recognition Awards). Subsequently, Lawal was also recognized personally and awarded the Young Entrepreneur of the year 2013.

He is also the co-founder of Bancafricent SA Pty Ltd and Bancafricent Uk Ltd, an electronic money institute agency with offices and operations in the United Kingdom and South Africa.

Lawal is the chief executive officer of Oillets Services, S8 Contractor, and S8 Contractors UK Ltd, which has interests in oil and gas, food products, marine logistics and services, e-commerce, feed mill, and information technology and services.

In January 2020, Lawal was appointed by the United Nations/ International Association of World Advocates as a Peace Ambassador for the year 2020.

Has a strong passion for Nigeria and believes in the future of the continent of Africa as she’s rising.
