Razaq Juwon Lawal is the founder/CEO of Africent Group, a conglomerate with global reach, headquartered in Logistics City Dubai World Central, UAE; with operations in West Africa, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, it boasts of multi-industry; oil and marine, agribusiness, and Technology services.

ABD Fuels, now S8 Contractors with a global presence, a company Lawal founded in 2009, grew faster than envisaged and delivered many successful services to both locals and international clients. Recognized for its rapid growth and excellent service delivery, ABD Fuels was awarded the best marine logistics services provider of the year 2012 (Excellent Recognition Awards). Subsequently, Lawal was also recognized personally and awarded the Young Entrepreneur of the year 2013.

In February 16th 2020 Lawal was appointed and awarded as an Eminent Peace Ambassador by the United Nations/ International Association of World Advocates as a Peace Ambassador for the year 2020. He has a strong passion for Nigeria, and believes the continent of Africa is rising.

In June 2020, Lawal was accepted as an official member of the Forbes Business Council. Members are respected leaders and executives who are selected for the council based on the depth and diversity of experience in leadership, management, customer engagement, technology & growth.
